Every Saturday in Naples from 7:30am until 11:30am we are treated with the Third Street South Farmer's Market located in the parking lot behind Tommy Bahamas. You will find organic vegetables, freshly baked breads, ceviche and guacamole from nearby restaurants, arts and crafts from local artists among other irresistible goodies. Bring your dogs for doggie treats and your children for fruit smoothies. It is an event for the entire family!
After lunch out, enjoy a historic tour at Naples' oldest home (built 1895), the Palm Cottage™ house museum, at the corner of 12th Avenue South and Gulf Shore Boulevard. This 3,500 square foot house museum is listed as an historic landmark in the National Register of Historic Places.
Tours of Historic Palm Cottage are held Tuesdays – Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm. $10/person. Children 10 and under are free. Members of Naples Historical Society are always free. No reservations are needed.
