Some of these suites are even more luxurious than you can imagine from the inclusion of a large step-in wash station to a designated drying area with a commercial-sized pet dryer to automated feeders and even a flat-screen TV. I know that most of us always leave on the TV to keep the company of our pets when we are not at home.
Builders have been including “pet suites” of one kind or another in many of the homes that they have been remodeling. Owners want a functional space so they don’t have to use the kitchen sink or bathtub to wash their dogs anymore and some type of built-in space for pet bowls to prevent the food and water from getting spilled all over the floor. Design of course is a consideration in the layout of the remodeled space and pet washrooms could also be part of a multi-use mudroom.
