I have been showing waterfront property over the past few days in the $2.5m to $3.5m range in the Moorings, Park Shore, and Aqualane Shores.There are some great wide water view homes available in this price range.They are older homes but a few are in great condition and very liveable having been updated over the past few years. Offering locations that allow walking distance to the beach and shopping (3rd street shops and Venetian Village). These lots also allow for direct access to the Gulf of Mexico for the sailers who love the water around Naples. Buying this type of home will provide an opportunity to get your foot in the market and either enjoy the home or rent the property out while you make plans to developed a new dream home. With the boom in new construction "tear down (or) vacant lots" are becoming few and far between especially if you want wide water and spacific exposure. So far this season new inventory is trickling onto the market and demand has been pent up for the past several months. Naples is no longer just the destination for wealthy mid westerners; it is now the destination for the northeast, west coast, Europe, and the rest of the world. This is one of the reasons that prices are increasing and will continue to do so.
