If you are looking for some excitement come to Fifth Avenue South in beautiful Naples, FL to participate or just watch the third annual Stiletto Sprint. Susan G. Komen of Southwest Florida will be hosting the 500- foot sprint Saturday, October 20th. The community fun run will be a straight dash down Fifth Avenue South- while wearing high heels. Organizers are hoping for a record-breaking event for participation and fundraising. Awards will be given for best group costume, individual costume and best decade costume from the 1930's to the 1980s. There is also a chance to win a pink diamond donated by Port Royal Jewelers. Local businesses such as Naples Community Hospital will be participating in the race. The run will start with a procession of motorcycles from the Harley Hog Chapter and the Naples High School cheerleaders will also be on hand. The organizers expect thousands to attend on Saturday. Registration begins at 4:30 and the race starts at 6:00 p.m. Come on out to Fifth Avenue to run and enjoy the evening in hopes of finding a cure for breast cancer.
