Thursdays on Third

Blessing of the Stone Crab Fleet
September 28th - 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.
Bring the entire family to Everglades City to witness the blessing of stone crab boats and to join in the fun of live music, raffles, face-painting, frog-jumping contests, stone crab art, bake sales, and the famous coconut guava cake contest. Hosted at the historic Rod and Gun Club, a quaint bed and breakfast which overlooks the Barron River and is full of Old Florida charm, this event is the perfect option for someone who is looking for an adventure and would like to see an authentic piece of Old Florida.
Wine Around the Water
September 28th - 5:00-7:00 P.M.
Sample wine from over 20 boutiques and restaurants at the Village Shops on Venetian Bay. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the $20 ticket price will benefit SNIP Collier, a spay and neuter initiative program. Gulf Coast Humane Society of Fort Myers will be present to introduce you to adoptable dogs, and you'll also receive an exclusive discount card to six of the luxury waterfront restaurants.
