Sales in Naples Increase as Inventory Declines

06/30/11

Inventory in Naples, Florida is continuing its downward trend as indicated by NABOR, which tracks home listings and sales in Collier County. The available inventory declined to 8,762 available properties in the first quarter of 2011, down from 9,557 in the first quarter of 2010.

The decline of inventory is a result of fewer properties coming to the market and the current inventory selling more rapidly. Overall home sales increased 5 percent to 936 sales in March 2011, compared to 890 sales in March 2010. These statistics are encouraging, as sales activity continues to remain high.

Gulf Coast International Properties have been a major factor in the contribution of these positive stats. For more information on the current market in the Olde Naples, Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, and outlying waterfront property contact Andrew Arreola at 239-821-3560 or [email protected]
