The honored Chef de Cuisine for the 2016 Naples Winter Wine Festival was recently announced as chef Rick Tramanto. This will be the chefs sixth year at the event, and his first year as Chef de Cuisine. The award winning chef is renowned in the Chicago restaurant scene, and is honored to use his passion for food to give back to the community. Ranked among the top 10 arts and entertainment events by the Luxury Institute, the festival is a mix of fun and philanthropy. This exclusive event will be limited to 580 guests. Spanning over three days, the event brings together dozens of celebrity chefs and world-renowned vintners, wine collectors and philantropists, and features one-of-a-kind auction lots thanks to generous donors. Wine Spectator has named it one of the most successful charity wine auctions in the country. The Festival has raised more than $135 million since 2001, and awarded grants to more than 40 charitable organizations for underprivileged and at-risk children. The 2016 Festival will be held January 29-31 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort and various private homes in Naples. Ticket packages to this exclusive event start at $10,000 per couple.
