Coming off of an amazing season in Naples regarding real estate it will be interesting to see what opportunities present themselves. I just finished the morning showing condominiums on Gulf Shore BLVD. My clients have interest in renovating something during the summer (often this is the only time renovations are allowed in condominiums) and having it ready for resale during next season. In an economic climate where people are wondering where is a good place to park their money being that most options are providing little return. Renovations if done properly can have the potential to add great value to a home or condo. The average Naples buyer seems more than willing to pay a premium for properties that have already been renovated. Most buyers do not want to go through the ordeal of picking a builder, making the renovation choices, having to come up with innovative floor plan ideas that are appealing, and doing it cost effectively. There are opportunities in every market including Beach front, Port Royal, Old Naples, Aqualane Shore, and The Moorings.
