(Pet Friendly Buildings in the Beach Area of Naples (West of 41, Olde Naples to Vanderbilt Beach)

07/16/14

If you haven't noticed already, it can be a challenge to find "Pet friendly" condominium complexes in the beach areas of Naples. A bone of contention for many. Of course a single family home would be the alternative, but if condo living suits you best this can be a real problem.

Park Shore Naples Pet Friendly Buildings Scott Pearson Gulf Coast International Properties I read an article today discussing people and their pets. Pets are literally considered a part of the family by many and taken so seriously that there is a new trend stretching across the country where home space is actually being allocated to pet rooms. Rooms decked out with beds, windows, A/C, cabinets, washes etc.

I don't have a pet myself but have several friends and clients that do and they wouldn't for a second consider living anywhere that didn't allow pets. They often ask if it really matters if they buy a place with a no pet policy.

Unfortunately, the answer is yes. Pet rules and regulations are taken very seriously in Naples. I wouldn't recommend being "sneaky", chances are your pet will be discovered and you will undoubtedly have to get rid.

With all that said, I was curious how many complexes actually do allow pets. I was surprised to find 110+ of them with 198 units currently for sale ranging in price from $159,000 to $13,900,000. There are 1 bedroom units with 580 sq ft. up to 5+ bedrooms with 12,000+ sq ft. That's a pretty good range of choices I would say.

See the link below (updated continually) showing units currently for sale in pet friendly buildings. If anything looks appealing give us a call for a private viewing.
