Open House Activity Picks Up in October

There was a very noticeable spike in visitors to open houses throughout Naples this past weekend with many resulting in sales. This is a great sign that it will be a very busy real estate season in Southwest Florida. The summer was steady as far as sales are concerned as prices decreased slightly from a busy past few years. However, there was very little build up of listings in most markets downtown. If demand increases as it should we may see the summer price dip correct itself quickly. New construction has continued to be the market with the most choice while prime lots in the area seem to be hard to come by. Buyer have taken to the streets on Sunday looking for their home before the masses hit Naples. The onset of an early cold winter will be a huge motivator for our friends up north.
