Olde Naples Real Estate has enjoyed a big year thus far achieving an overwhelming recovery. A good example I like to point out which puts a barometer on where we've been and where we are is when comparing a typical lot sale from the bottom of the market in 2009, to a recent lot sale in very close proximity. The Olde Naples lot at 577 Gulf Shore Blvd which is a 100 X 150 lot just one block from the beach sold 3/11 at $1.176m. A comparable lot just 4 blocks to the north at the corner of 2nd Ave S and Gulf Shore Blvd which was also a 100 X 150 lot just traded at $2.15m. In a 2 year span the market in this area is back up a whopping 30% off of the bottoms of 2009-2011. This is not a surprise due to the desirability of the Olde Naples area.
