The Olde Naples new construction real estate market remains very strong and now offers some overdue new inventory. New homes being built on speculation have been commonplace here for many years and for a number of years we have seen a shortage. We now finally are seeing some new inventory which will fill the gap and in my opinion force prices to more slowly accelerate. Olde Naples properties are at a premum due to the proximity and access to the pristine beaches, the walkability to shopping and dining, and the overall quality of life that the area offers. Prices will continue to rise in my opinion due to more baby boomers continuing their influx to Naples, the fact that more than ever former snowbirds are making Naples their primary residence, and the overall health of our marketplace which is driven by almost all cash transactions and stringent borrowing standards.
