Two new residential developments, within the Naples City limits, are one step closer to construction. Naples Square received preliminary design approval, while Mangrove Bay received final approval. Naples Square will be a 300-unit residential community located on more than 10 acres of the former Grand Central Station Property at the intersection of US 41 East and Goodlette-Frank Road. Mangrove Bay, formerly known as Lighthouse Point, is the planned single-family homes community along the Gordon River, just south of the newly purchased tract of land set to become a city park and just north of Bayfront. The plans include 52 single-family homes with garages, boat slips and boardwalks.
