With the market being as hot as it is, it isn't uncommon to see new construction sell before its completion date. I am sure this is why so many spec builders are listing their homes pre-construction, they are vying for the attention of all buyers.
Some consumers like the option of being able to make personal choices in the home they are purchasing vs. having everything already completed. We are still seeing that consumers are willing to pay a premium for new construction that is completed however.
As for the prices of these new homes, they range from $2,649,900 for the least expensive off water home on up to $5,950,000 for waterfront with Gulf access.
Per sq foot prices vary drastically too ranging from $603 per sq ft up to $1,316 a sq ft.
18 of these new construction homes have lot sizes close to 1/3 of an acre or roughly 14,500 sq ft.
A few other notable details:
- 22 of the 27 homes have 4 bedrooms + a den and 5+ bathrooms
- 19 of the 27 have 3 car garages (6 have 4+ car garages)
- All have both a private pool and spa.
