According to Yahoo Finance's Daily Ticker, out of the top 21 areas for projected average annual economic growth through 2020, four cities are located in Florida. The South is a leading hot area with construction, energy, computer jobs, professional business services, and of course tourism leading the way. As the US economic forecast is lowered from 2.7% to 2% for 2014, they are predicting a continued stagnant yearly projection of 2.1%. Naples has a projected annual growth rate of 4.6% through 2020.
Florida's low tax rates are surely responsible for the growth.
