Tomorrow, Thursday November 7th, The Naples International Film Festival’s opening night film and party kicks off the festival at Artis-Naples (formerly The Philharmonic Center for the Arts), located in Pelican Bay. The evening begins with red carpet arrivals at 5:30 p.m., followed by the 7 p.m. Florida premiere of the narrative feature film “Hank and Asha”, a Q&A session afterward with filmmakers and cast members, and an opening night party. Niff will also be celebrating this year’s recipient of its Voice of the Arts Award, Clyde Butcher, the American photographer renowned for his black-and-white images of the Florida landscape.
NIFF will screen approximately 40 films at Silverspot Cinema at Mercato Nov. 8-10, including domestic and international feature-length and short films in drama, comedy, and documentary genres.
