Naples Gordon River Greenway Is Well Worth the Visit!

Having its grand opening last week was perfect timing for Naples newest park as the weather has been amazing. I brought my family out for a bike ride yesterday along the miles of paved paths meandering along the Gordon River and still have an air of excitement about what a nice addition to our community this park is. A scenic, paved nature trail with water access along the Gordon River, in the heart of Naples. The miles of paths are ideal for walkers, hikers, runners, cyclists, kayakers, birders, families, artists and nature lovers. The park has great facilities and plenty of parking. Every inch is scenic, offering views of Naples I didn't know existed. There was wildlife at every turn and plenty of space for off road adventures. The Gordon River in this area is breathtaking in its tranquility. The water was crystal clear and fish and turtles played along the banks as giant Herons stalked the river's edge. Occasionally the shadow of a Bald Eagle would swoop along the path leaving everyone in awe of how beautiful Naples truly is when you take a moment to appreciate the wonders of nature.
