On December 13th starting at 6:15 and ending at 8:30 is the annual Naples Boat Parade will make its festive voyage through Naples Bay. The parade is produced by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County Foundation and can be easily viewed from the many restaurants along the water. Last year's event was a huge success with perfect weather and around 25 entries ranging from the Naples Princess to the Sheriff's Department. All the boats had very festive lighting and some were accompanied by carolers, dancers, and fun. A panel of judges will observe the festivities and give out awards in several different categories including sail boats, power boats, and different sizes. All proceeds from the 24th annual boat parade will benefit the Naples-based Ricky King Foundation.
