As the energy boom is fading, a new leader has transpired - real estate in Florida as the baby boomers, who were considered the wealthiest, most active and physically fit generation up to that time, are retiring in luxury.
Naples, FL continues to top the list of the greatest economic growth. A repeat of 2015, analysis of data in a new report from the U.S. Conference of Mayors prepared by IHS Global Insight calculates that Naples' economy will grow 4.9% in 2016. In fact, metropolitan areas in Florida made up 50% of the top 18 performers in economic growth forecasts.
