Naples Community Hospital Earns Top Grades

 

NCH earns top grades for patient safety.

The NCH Healthcare System has earned an “A” grade from the Leapfrog Group for patient safety, the only system in Collier and Lee counties to get the top mark. Both the NCH North Naples Hospital and NCH Downtown Naples Hospital received A’s, according to the national nonprofit hospital safety watchdog organization.

“NCH colleagues and medical staff are engaged in projects and initiatives that produce excellent patient outcomes and national recognition but nothing is as important to us as patient safety,” Dr. Allen Weiss, president and chief executive officer of NCH, said in a news release. “Hospitals with outstanding safety performance raise the standard of health care on a local and national basis.”
