Naples is No. 6 of "12 Best Relaxing Getaways in the USA" (U.S. News and World Report: Travel) This list includes, in order, the big island of Hawaii, the U.S. Virgina Islands, Yellowstone, Sedona, the Outer Banks, Naples, Napa Valley, Lanai, Maui, Santa Barbara, Santa Fe, and Martha's Vinyard, rather illustrious company by any standard.
Four Naples golf communities are in "America's Top 100 Golf Communities" (Travel+Liesure Golf) Of the 17 communities in Florida on this list, Naples has four! (Grey Oakes, Mediterra, Fiddlers Creek, and Twin Eagles)
No. 1 in "Best Hotels in Florida" (U.S. News and World Report: Travel) goes to the Ritz-Carlton on the beach in Naples, and No.3 is the the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples. Not too bad, also considering that we are the only city in the world with TWO Ritz-Carltons!
