Southwest Florida's very own Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles have advanced to the NCAA Men's Basketball Sweet 16. The basketball team has captured the nations attention as this years Cinderella story. FGCU is the first 15 seed ever to advance this far in the tournament. The team has attracted so much attention to the school that the universities website received 350,000 hits on Monday and Tuesday following their historic run into the sweet 16. Students and fans stormed the FGCU bookstore waiting over an hour for FGCU Sweet 16 shirts for a 3rd day in a row. You can catch "Dunk City" in action Friday night versus the Florida Gators at 10:00 PM.
