According to the Lee County Port Authority (Fly LCPA) March was the busiest month for passenger traffic in Southwest Florida International Airport history. More than 1.1 million passengers traveled through the airport in the month, up 8.9 percent over March 2012. Additionally, year0-to-date traffic at the airport is up 7.5 percent over the first three months of 2012. Delta was the traffic leader among airlines, with 239,557 passengers traveling to and from RSW. The top 5 rounded out like this Delta, AirTran, Southwest, US Airways and JetBlue.
