Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Old Naples had its own upscale pool, gym and tennis club?
Imagine a luxurious waterfall pool and lazy river for kids, plus an adults’ only pool area that includes separate lap pool and hot tub, all with private cabanas. Pure fantasy? In fact, this imaginary club is a wonderful reality with one little adjustment. It is located a scant quarter mile outside of Old Naples. It is the Club at Naples Bay Resort. From our GCIP office at Broad Avenue South and Third Street, the Club at Naples Bay Resort is closer than the gym at Naples Community Hospital in Old Naples. This lovely club is, in my opinion, close enough to be considered an Old Naples amenity. And what an amenity it is.
As you walk through the gate, a pool attendant offers sumptuous beach towels. A ring of chaise lounges are complemented by scattering of large rental cabanas ideal for families or quiet interludes in the well-marked “Adults Only” area.
The shallow waterfall pool is the centerpiece, and delightful distraction for kids of all ages, along with a lazy river that meanders through tropical landscaping on a short, tranquil circuit. Adults can head over to the more tranquil side of the compound with their own private pool, lap pool and hot tub. A menu specializing in fresh salads, seafood and a spectrum of tropical libations are a perfect complement to a relaxing afternoon around the pools.
Inside the club are high quality locker rooms, light and bright exercise rooms with the latest equipment, a large meeting room with available catering, and a chic Euro-spa offering a wide selection of holistic therapies. It is quality and class throughout, and just a minute from Old Naples.
