It's time to ring in the New Year and say hello to 2018. Here is some advice on taking in the New Year in Naples FL.
- Many of the areas best restaurants are hosting an all inclusive celbration to Eat & Drink and Party until NYE. Some of those restaurants are The Bevy which is offering a 3 course meal for $125 with a complimentary glass of champagne. Ocean Prime Dine decadently with a three-course prix fixe menu that includes a glass of Camus Cabernet and Conundrum Sparkling for $139. The Ritz Carlton-The Grill at the Ritz Beach Resort hosts the ultimate New Year’s Eve fine dining experience, complete with live musical entertainment and a wine list with more than 1,000 selections from around the world. Seatings from 5-6 p.m. ($199 per person) and 8-9 p.m. ($299 per person).
- My family and friends have our annual ritual of gathering on the beach and watch the last sunset of the year while enjoying home cooked food and some cold libations. We like to be home by the time the party crowd hits the road. These photos are from 2016 and 2017.
Fireworks at Naples Pier
Nab a spot on the beach near the Naples Pier for the annual fireworks show from 7:30-8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. The crowds start gathering in the afternoon, so if you want to be closer to the hub of it all, pack a cooler and plan to get there early to stake out your spot. (If not, there’s no bad views along any stretch of beach downtown.)
