The nationwide housing numbers were released today and showed some very positive numbers. Housing starts have spiked to levels not seen in over 4 years. Building permits also rose roughly 12% above the August 2012 estimates and a whopping 45% increase over the September 2011 estimate. Building permits in the city of Naples where the majority of Naples luxury real estate is located, is now at levels not seen in more than 5 years with the established builders, Naples Realtors, and Architects thriving. The amount of new construction happening in Naples and particularly in Old Naples, Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, The Moorings and Coquina Sands is truly incredible. The overall real estate market in Naples has bounced up off of 2009 lows in many instances more than 20%.
