The Gateway Triangle redevelopment is moving forward as Trio, the 9 stories mixed-use development, received site development plan approval from Collier County today. This is phenomenal news for the area as it has been in serious need of a cleaner look as you enter the city of Naples from the east. In the past, the area has been littered with chain link barbed wire fences and asphalt parking lots. TRIO is a sleek-looking nine-story building that will house a hotel, restaurants, residences, and shops. According to their website work is to begin in November of this year with construction to start in 2017.
This project, should it prove to be a success, will have an enormous impact on the area along Davis Blvd and HWY 41 East as well as the surrounding residential neighborhoods.
