If you are like I once was, you come to Naples once or twice a year with the overwhelming desire to get out of the cold weather and soak in the rays on the beautiful white sandy beaches of Southwest Florida. The trouble always was, that when I was here visiting for a week or so at a time, it always went too fast and I would be so distraught after returning home thinking "if only I could live there." This went on for over 20 years until the oportunity arose to move to Naples permanently with my family in 2003.
Ten years later, not a day goes by that I don't appreciate the beauty of the City of Naples, the amazing weather and the wonderful people. The restaurants on Fifth Ave, Third St. S, and many off the beaten path dining establishments known more to locals, rival any of those in major cities, as does shopping and the Arts. We have Sugden Theatre, The Children's Museum, Artis-Naples, the Philharmonic, von Liebig Art Center, fabulous art festivals and the list goes on. This is a unique city with so much to offer for the size. New and resale housing here ranges from lower-priced small condos inland to huge luxury estates on the water, to many golf course communities, which opens up many opportunities for you and whatever atmoshphere you are looking to experience.
For those moving here with Hertz and now possibly another unnamed business that the Naples Daily News says could bring another 400 jobs along with it--you are going to love Naples!
