One of the world’s biggest exhibitions for showcasing life on and around the water, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show returns for its 59th year
“Yachting Capital of the World,” Fort Lauderdale once again proves it deserves the title as the city hosts its 59th annual international boat show. The show is scheduled from October 31 to November 4, 2018, and includes over 3 million feet of exhibition space across seven locations and six miles of floating docks.
From sport cruisers to show-stopping yachts, 1,500 boats will be on display—an incredible variety with something to appeal to all boating enthusiasts. The show is expected to draw well over 100,000 attendees during its five-day run.
FLIBS, however, is more than just a tour of the world’s top boats. Additional show highlights include:
Upscale Culinary Experience
For this year’s edition, organizers have elevated the cuisine available with over 100 food vendors on hand to satisfy the taste buds of every attendee. Catering is also available for those choosing to host clients or private events.
Aquazone by Nautical Ventures
Arguably one of the show’s top highlights is Nautical Ventures' Aquazone, where a 40,000-gallon freshwater pool will host demos, exhibitions, aquabatics, and much more.
The Blue Wild Ocean Adventure Expo
A must for those seeking a little something beyond the boat, the Blue Wild Expo will include seminars that cover topics such as underwater photography and spearfishing.
Kid’s Fishing Clinics
Presented by Hook the Future, younger attendees between the ages of 4 and 16 will be entertained while gaining firsthand fishing knowledge. This educational experience also gives kids the chance to win prizes.
For a grander tour through the show, FLIBS offers a VIP package with access to the Windward VIP Club that includes an air-conditioned lounge, wine tastings, and a dedicated concierge.
Even with seven different locations, FLIBS once again makes touring the show a breeze with a free water taxi and shuttle system for attendees.
