Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) earned 38 points total and tied for fourth among 11 Florida universities in the state’s second higher education report card to determine how much funding universities will receive above base allocations. FGCU scored five-out-of-five in the following areas: median wages of undergraduates employed in Florida one year after graduation; six-year graduation rates; the percentage of undergraduates with a Pell Grant; the percentage of graduate degrees awarded in areas of state strategic emphasis (including STEM); and percentage of bachelor’s degrees awarded to minorities.
