Summer is officially here, and while Naples' real estate market has slowed a little from its seasonal traffic, this is the time that we see an increase in single family home sales for families with children. Families are most often looking for safe, family-friendly neighborhoods close to good schools.
Naples offers a variety of excellent public and private schools. Private schools such as the Community School of Naples, Seacrest Country Day School and the Village School offer suburb educations with no restrictions on enrollment. Public schools in Naples (Collier County) are assigned by a school zone map. In Naples, it is possible to go out-of-zone for public schools, however it must be applied for each year in January, is not guaranteed, and can be very stressful. For this reason, a number of families keep their home searches within a designated area on the map, depending on the public school of their choice.
The 2014 first quarter for Naples real estate was an extremely active one, which saw record property sales, price increases approximately 15% overall, and inventory decreases 14% overall. That said, there are still some excellent homes available in ideal family friendly neighborhoods in Naples - such neigborhoods as Aqualane Shores, Park Shore, Moorings, Pine Ridge, Autumn Woods, Monterey, and Pelican Marsh. Let me share my experience and knowledge of these neighborhoods with you - call Tricia anytime at 239-961-1801, or email at [email protected]. Thanks!
