There are always entertaining things to see and do in the Naples area. Mark your calanders with a few of them coming up within the next few weeks:
This weekend, November 15th and 16th 10 to 4pm, at Germain Arena we have the 4th ANNUAL SW FLORIDA HOME AND GARDEN SHOW. The show will be showcasing all the new home improvement products, fashions and remodeling ideas.The host of HGTV's "New Spaces" Jim Parks will be there both days giving rehab ideas for kitchens, bathrooms and other living spaces.
This coming week, Wednesday November 20th, Artis (formerly known as The Philharmonic), we welcome AMERICA, the iconic band from the 70's. A few hits you might remember: "Sister Golden Hair", "Horse with no Name", "Ventura Highway", and "Sandman".
Next weekend, Sunday November 24th, Germain Arena will be hosting EAGLEPALOOZA, a play on the successful but unrelated music event called Lalapalooza. This year features artists Ludacris, Juicy J, Bubba Sparxxx and DJ RIFIC. Past Eaglepalooza concerts have featured artists Gavin DeGraw, Train, Better Than Ezra, and Sister Hazel...more my style but it's fun to see the diversity of shows coming to our area.
The end of the month, November 30th and December 1st, Artis will once again feature the perfect show to segway us into the holidays, THE NUTCRACKER. Performed by the well respected regional Miami City Ballet with the Naples Philharmonic.
