Over the past month the market in the downtown neighborhoods of Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, and Old Naples closed over 40 homes/condos/lots. The highest closed sales were 4200 Gordon Drive and 1076 Nelson's Walk both closing for over $15m. Of the 40 closed sales 4 homes closed over $10m and another 5 homes closed over $5m. Ten of these properties were on the market for less than 30 days before finding a buyer. There are another 53 properties pending sale and slated to close over the next 2 months, 9 of these are priced over $5m.
Naples has been discovered as a worldwide tropical vacation destination. When buyers ask about the longevity of the Naples market it is easy to point out the popularity gains that we have experienced over the past 5 years. Gone are the days when you mention Naples and people think they have heard of it. With growth comes more culture and diversity in activities, entertainment, and business opportunities that no longer hinge on "the season".
