Despite the nation's growing economic concerns and the recent dip in the market, in what has traditionally been a slow summer month for sales, Port Royal has had 4 closed sales in the last two weeks - two of which closed for over $10 million this past week. 3760 Fort Charles Drive, a 14,000 square foot estate built in 2002 and situated on a wide water lot, sold for $15,000,000.00 last Friday. Following that, 3775 Rum Row, also built-in 2002 and coming in with just under 9700 square feet of living space, closed on Wednesday for $10,450,000.00. With these numbers and high-end inventory moving in a typically quiet time of the year this area is yet again proving its insulation and long-term investment value.
