City of Naples Golf Carts by Trey Wilson

From Point A to Point B in an LSV

Many find the Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) to be a great alternative form of transportation to get around town because they are electric-powered making them environmentally friendly and eliminate the cost for fuel. Much like a car, an LSV or "Street-Legal Golf Cart" must be equipped with headlights, taillights, break lights, turn signals, reflex reflectors, parking brake, windshield, wipers, seatbelts, rearview mirrors and operate between 20 and 25 miles per hour.

Additionally, to drive an LSV requires only a driver's license, insurance and registration. Unlike the standard golf cart, the LSV is permitted to operate on roads with speed limits of 35 miles per hour or less.

You might even spot the Gulf Coast International Properties LSV around town this season showing properties or driving between our two downtown office locations.
