According to Naples Daily News a 220 unit condominium Central Avenue development, one of Naples’ largest in years, got the go-ahead Wednesday from the Naples Planning Advisory Board and is expected to be finished in five years.
The 1075 Central Ave. project, planned for the former Naples Daily News site, will feature a three-story, mixed-use building with 8,000 square feet of commercial use and apartment amenities on the ground floor, including a café, a community room, fitness center and offices. The two upper floors will have 18 residential units. Behind it, a four-story building will have 202 one- to three-bedroom condominiums. Hidden within will be a four-story garage.
The building, which will offer guest suites for residents’ friends and family, will surround a landscaped courtyard and pool. The street will benefit from a stormwater system that will prevent heavy flooding and treat water before it enters the Gordon River.
