The 5 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas has been traditionally thought of as a slower time for real estate in Naples as many travel back home to be with their families over the holidays. This year has a much different feel with a buzz swirling in the cafes and restaurants about real estate in Naples, Florida. We (realtors) rolled through this summer thinking things could not possibly become any busier, looking forward to the holidays to get some more inventory on the market and prepare for the winter season. The following statistics in the MLS are an eye opener and go forward in proof that this season will be like no other I can recall. In the past 30 days we have had (93) pending sales over $1,000,000 with (12) of those over $3,000,000. In total Naples currently has (160) pending sales over $1,000,000. In the markets of Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, Old Naples, Coquina Sands, The Moorings, and Park Shore over $1,000,000 there are (330) listings available for sale including lots, condominiums, and single-family homes and (78) pending sale. When you look at the numbers keep in mind we have really not even touched our "season" yet. That gives us 4 months of product on the market!!! Naples is now more popular than ever and is often listed amongst the top places in the world to live.
