While many winter residents return up north right after Easter, an increasing number of snowbirds are delaying their departure until June to enjoy the slower pace of Naples highlighted by no-reservations required dining and golf reciprocals. There is also a wonderful cultural reason to stay.
The ArtsNaples World Festival (running from April 27-May 10) is a great event that spotlights a different country's culture each year. This year celebrates the arts of France with a full schedule of opera performances, concerts, cabarets, recitals, art lectures, films, cooking demonstrations, dining, and more. It is a wonderful series of events and an interesting opportunity to connect with other cultural cognoscenti of Naples.
Tickets are still available for many events and this is a great way to celebrate all things French while enjoying our lovely May weather and relaxed off-season ambiance.
