Year-to-date visitors to Collier County in SW Florida, which includes Naples, increased by 5.5% over 2013. Through August there were 65,400 more visitors jumping from 1,179,200 to 1,244,600 people according to Research Data Services out of Tampa.

The total economic impact in dollars was up $145,297,000 or roughly 12% over 2013 at this point.

The average visitor's age was 44 years old, very close to Collier County's median age of 46.

There was a 98% satisfaction rate with the top noted activities being: The beach, dining, relaxing, sitting by the pool and shopping.
